FINANCE TEAM 

Patricia Handjaja - Vice President Finance and Accounting

A member of the Noble House Hotels & Resorts team since 2000, Handjaja now plays a key role as the company's director of finance and accounting. In this capacity, she helps navigate the complex regulations that exist in today's financial market – ultimately providing maximum financial return to partners and investors. Her role also encompasses overseeing all treasury functions, ad-hoc reporting and monitoring reporting compliance, with an emphasis on the analysis and due diligence involved in the company’s recapitalization, as well as working with lenders and investors to secure short- and long-term financing arrangements. Her experience includes corporate cash management, corporate benefit plans, state and local tax regulations, budget planning and cost control. A designated Certified Hospitality Accountant Executive, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Washington.


David Feeney - Vice President of Finance and Audit 

David has worked for destination resort properties and high-end boutique hotels for over 25 years. He started his career in 1985 with Sheraton Corporation at Universal Studios, and then worked for Registry Hotels, Red Lion Hotels, and Windsor Capital Group as a Regional Controller. He joined Noble House Hotels & Resorts in 1996 where he works in his current role of Vice-President of Finance & Audit. David’s primary responsibility can generally be described as compliance, assuring the timely and accurate presentation of the year-end financial statements, internal control environments of the various Noble House properties, achieving a balance between available resources and required controls. David is also responsible for forming and heading-up the teams that conduct periodic on-site internal audits.


Steve Sanborn - Vice President of Finance and Business Development

Steve Sanborn has been a member of the Noble House family since 1987. Steve’s current focus is new business and growth for Noble House through management, ownership and development opportunities. In his current role he draws upon the 20+ years of knowledge accumulated from holding senior finance roles at both the property and corporate level. His most recent post was Corporate Controller. Previous to Noble House, Steve held various hotel related finance positions.


Kay Capell - Corporate Cost Controller

After 15 years of extended management and directorial experience in New York City with Marriott International, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group and James Beard Events, Kay joined Noble House in 2007 as the Corporate Food & Beverage Controller. Now, as Noble House’s Corporate Cost Controller, Kay drives the oversight of property cost control in areas of labor, food, beverage and spa. Kay’s occupational experience includes roles as Director of Restaurants, Senior Banquet Manager, Assistant Controller and Assistant Food & Beverage Director to her previous employers.


Kevin Falk - Corporate Controller

Kevin started with Noble House in 1992 as an accounts payable clerk, and then as assistant controller for the Portofino Hotel & yacht Club and Controller for the Shore Resort & Spa before joining the Corporate team in 2007. As Regional Controller, Kevin is responsible for overseeing all accounting, financial reporting and compliance functions for Noble House Hotels & Resorts Florida and Colorado based properties. As Assistant Director of Finance, Kevin is responsible for maintaining the corporate books as well as maintaining all property level corporate reconciliations including debt, insurance, taxes, escrow, and equity balances. Kevin also assists with the acquisitions of new properties. Mr. Falk graduated from New York Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.


Karen Lee - Corporate Tax Director 

Before joining Noble House in 2003, Karen handled all aspects of tax, audit and financial accounting for a local CPA firm over a six year time period. Now, as the Corporate Tax Director, Karen is responsible for the all federal and state income tax compliance for all of our entities. She also assists our properties with tax reporting issues, provides tax information for our limited partners, and works with outside tax advisors to research tax structures of new deals. Other key aspects of her role entail management of the books for pass-through entities, as well as the corporate 401k plan.
