NOBLE HOUSE HOTELS AND RESORTS RECOGNIZED WITH TRAVEL + LEISURE “SMITTY” AWARD FOR BEST TWITTER CHAT HOTEL MANAGEMENT COMPANY RECEIVES AWARD FOR INNOVATIVE SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN

SEATTLE, Wash.— June 3, 2013—Noble House Hotels & Resorts, Ltd.—a collection of luxury hotels and resorts from the Florida Keys to Colorado and Seattle to Rhode Island—is honored to announce that the Noble House Happy Hour Twitter Chat has received first runner up in the Travel + Leisure “Social Media In Travel + Tourism” (“SMITTY”) Award for the Best Twitter Chat of 2013.

Targeting influential “tweeps” in the food and travel categories, the Noble House Happy Hour Twitter Chat aimed to capitalize on the “best hour of the week” through themed, hour-long live chats every Wednesday evening. Throughout the initiative, Noble House Hotel & Resorts responded to Twitter users in real time with food and beverage suggestions, recipes and more, in order to capitalize on social media, connect with consumers, and build on the Noble House reputation of fantastic food and beverage programs. The innovative social media campaign resulted in a total of twenty Twitter chats that generated more than 10.3 million impressions and more than 8,221 uses of the #HHatNobleHouse hashtag. The interactive chat saw a mix of regular “attendees” as well as new influencers each week.

To determine the winners of the SMITTY awards, Travel + Leisure reviewed hundreds of applicants for outstanding social media campaigns that ran during the 2012 calendar year across multiple categories. A panel of social media experts reviewed the entries and ranked them on factors such as originality, creativity, brand messaging, brand appropriateness and engagement.
